Welcome! I am Alexander, an English-speaking BIPOC/Latinx Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and LGBTQ2+ ally dedicated to providing inclusive, trauma-informed mental health care. I work with Health Mind Therapy in woodland hills, CA, and I provide in-person and online therapy. I believe therapy is a powerful vehicle for healing, self-discovery, and growth, especially for individuals from diverse backgrounds who may find the process taboo or unfamiliar.
Grounded in a person-centered approach, I view you as the expert of your own life and position myself as a supportive tool to help you reach your goals. With a Master’s from Pepperdine University and specialized training from institutions like UCLA Health and the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, I am highly experienced in helping individuals ages 10–55 navigate complex trauma, life transitions, survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, bullying, family abuse, child abuse, mood symptoms, and more. Whether you are a teen focusing on future aspirations or an adult healing from systemic, familial, and or community-based challenges, I utilize culturally informed evidence-based practices to support your unique journey.
Mental health care is vital healthcare, and I look forward to partnering with you on this transformative next chapter.
