You may be feeling disconnected from yourself or your partner, repeating painful relationship patterns, or struggling to express emotions that you were taught to keep inside. Perhaps cultural expectations, masculinity, family roles, identity, or shame have made it difficult to ask for support. You do not have to navigate these experiences alone.
I’m Alex Estrada, a Latino Clinical Professional Counselor–Intern serving individuals and couples throughout Nevada. I provide a welcoming space where clients can communicate in the language that feels most natural and authentic to them.
I specialize in relationship and communication concerns, sex and intimacy, men’s mental health, attachment wounds, emotional regulation, and identity and cultural concerns. I also support couples who feel caught in cycles of conflict, emotional distance, mistrust, or difficulty communicating their needs. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, LGBTQ+ affirming, and grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy and attachment-based principles.
Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and honest. We will work together to understand the patterns beneath your struggles, strengthen emotional awareness, and develop healthier ways of connecting with yourself and others. I recognize how culture, family expectations, migration experiences, language, gender roles, and systems of oppression can influence mental health and relationships. You should not have to set aside important parts of your identity to feel understood in therapy.
I offer in-person and telehealth sessions for individuals and couples in Nevada, including evening and weekend availability. My private-pay rate is $75 per session, and I do not bill insurance. If you are ready to improve your relationships, reconnect with yourself, or begin healing long-standing patterns, I invite you to reach out.
