I’m a bilingual therapist who works with college students, young professionals, and activists. My clients often describe feeling “como con miedo” or “no sé qué tengo”—overwhelmed, stuck, or just low. They’re facing imposter syndrome (“I must’ve slipped through the cracks”), self-criticism (“Why can’t I get my $! together!”), or burnout from giving so much while struggling to support themselves. Many are making a positive impact on the world while carrying more than they should have to alone. I practice virtually at Nemi, a culturally-affirming therapy practice based in Austin.
My work uses mindful self-compassion, mind-body practices, and Chicana/o/x affirming therapy to explore how cultural expectations and stress show up in your life. As a daughter of immigrants navigating two worlds, I get it. I always show up as me: sometimes awkward, deeply sensitive, and committed to walking with you through whatever you’re facing.
You don’t need to have everything figured out to start therapy. I offer a space that’s warm, collaborative, and real: a space where you can show up as you are, explore what’s been weighing on you, and begin to feel more supported and less alone.
