Starting therapy takes courage — especially when anxiety feels overwhelming, emotions feel intense, or you feel stuck in repeating patterns. You don’t have to do this alone. I offer a warm, supportive space to slow down, understand what’s coming up, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves or their relationships, or confused by reactions that keep showing up. Together, we focus on helping you feel more grounded, emotionally regulated, and deeply connected — within yourself and with others.
I work with adults and couples, with a focus on women of color and first-generation children of immigrants navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. Many of my clients want to understand how past experiences — including childhood or recent trauma — continue to shape their emotions, behaviors, and relationship patterns. I also provide therapy for therapists, offering supportive space to process burnout, emotional fatigue, and the unique challenges of caring for others.
I am a bilingual, Spanish-speaking somatic therapist and offer sessions in both English and Spanish. My approach is integrative, relational, psychodynamic, and body-based, meaning therapy is tailored to your unique story, goals, and pace while addressing both emotional and nervous system patterns. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. If you’re seeking somatic therapy to better understand yourself, regulate emotions, and create healthier patterns in your life or relationships, I invite you to schedule a session or reach out to learn more. I would be honored to support you. Please feel free to reach out here.
Somatic Therapy & Brainspotting
Somatic therapy is a core part of my work. Our bodies carry the imprint of our lived experiences, and your nervous system has always been working to protect you — even when it hasn’t felt that way. Through somatic and mindfulness-based therapy, I help clients gently reconnect with their bodies, build nervous system regulation, and develop a greater sense of safety and presence in daily life and relationships. This approach can be especially supportive for those navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, boundary challenges, shame, people-pleasing patterns, or a sense of disconnection from their inner world.
I also frequently integrate Brainspotting, a body-based trauma therapy rooted in EMDR that offers a flexible, relational, and client-led approach to healing. Brainspotting works by identifying eye positions, or “brainspots,” that connect to areas of emotional activation in the brain, allowing emotional experiences stored in both the brain and body to be processed at your pace. This method can be especially helpful for adults working through recent or childhood trauma, emotional reactivity, or long-standing patterns that haven’t shifted through talk therapy alone.
Couples & Relational Therapy
I work with both new and long-term couples who want to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, and navigate conflict with more clarity and care. I enjoy supporting couples who are motivated to build or re-establish a strong emotional foundation and move out of reactive patterns. Using Imago Relationship Therapy, I help partners slow down, deepen understanding, and create greater emotional safety and connection. I also support adult child–parent relationships, especially when family-of-origin dynamics continue to impact present-day connection.
