About Aimee Rodriguez, LMSW

Hi, I’m a first-generation Mexican-American therapist offering compassionate, non-judgmental care in both English and Spanish. I’m deeply committed to supporting the Latinx community, LGBTQ+ individuals, teenagers, college students, young adults, adults, and señoras. I work with clients navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, suicidal thoughts, self-harming behaviors, emotional struggles, relationship issues, family conflict, low self-esteem, imposter syndrome, and school-related stress.

Whether you’re overwhelmed by stress, stuck in painful patterns, or struggling to manage your emotions, I’m here to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and move toward healing. My approach is rooted in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine desire to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered.

A big part of our work together will involve building insight into your thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns, so you can stop feeling like you’re fighting yourself and start moving forward with clarity and confidence. When you understand why you’re reacting the way you do, it becomes easier to make meaningful, lasting change. I’m here to help you connect the dots and develop tools that support real progress.

I work best with clients who are ready to do the work, whether that means challenging old habits, practicing new coping strategies, or showing up with honesty and curiosity. Therapy with me isn’t just about venting; it’s about creating momentum toward the life you want.

Clients often tell me they feel truly listened to, and that my calm, lighthearted presence helps them feel safe opening up, even when things are heavy. I pride myself on creating a warm, supportive space where you can explore your emotions without fear of judgment. But I’ll also gently challenge you when needed, helping you face yourself with honesty, so you can grow. That might mean facing the hard stuff but always with care, respect, and your best interest at heart.

If you have BlueCross BlueShield or Blue Care Network insurance, you can easily schedule a free 15-minute initial consultation or an appointment directly through our practice’s website, Haven Mental Health Solutions. If you have any questions feel free to send me an email.
