Hola, I’m Adriana.
I’m a human first—immigrant, daughter, parent, cancer survivor, neurodivergent, and bicultural therapist. My approach is deeply shaped by my lived experiences and my passion for social justice work in the therapy room. I understand what it’s like to carry multiple roles and expectations, navigate financial stress, family dynamics, and major life transitions, systemic racism and oppression, while feeling the pressure to “keep going” and be strong. That can be a lot—and you don’t have to carry it alone.
In our work together, I invite space for a genuine, trusting connection where you can show up as you are and explore what you’re holding at your own pace. I believe healing happens through honesty, compassion, and even moments of laughter. ¡Sí, muchas risas!
I’m an EMDR Certified therapist and integrate CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Compassionate Inquiry, somatic approaches, mindfulness, and IFS within a trauma-informed, affirming framework. My approach is strengths-based, culturally responsive, and rooted in social justice—honoring your identity, your story, and your resilience, and recognizing you as the expert of your own life.
I specialize in supporting mujeres navigating perfectionism, identity beyond early expectations, shame, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and grief.
I also provide immigration evaluations for court proceedings.
I work with teens and adults across California via telehealth and offer in-person sessions in Orinda.
