Hi, I’m Sonia. I believe building a relationship with your body strengthens your intuition, self-worth, and self trust because I’ve experienced it myself.

I’m a first-gen highly sensitive professional— first in my family to get a graduate degree and first in my family to go to therapy. Mental health was not a topic in my household and neither was being highly sensitive, until I started college and sat in my psych 101 course. I fell in love with studying the mind and soul. It helped me grow in ways I never knew was possible. Personal growth became my passion. Fast forward fifteen years later and my passion for personal growth evolved into a passion for somatic and spiritual psychotherapy.

My own healing journey motivates me to help other highly sensitive professionals because I know feeling lighter, confident, and grounded after years of living in survival mode is possible for all of us.

My therapeutic style is holistic, gentle, nurturing, and grounding. I use my personal experience, education, and intuition to guide my approach. Together we’ll identify narratives and patterns in your life that are holding you back and build your relationship to intuition, self-worth, and self-trust.

However, I’m not for everyone. I don’t offer quick fixes. I don’t follow conventional therapy practices or techniques. I don’t hold all the answers to your questions. I don’t always know what to say or how to say it. I don’t hold or subscribe to popular beliefs or narratives.

I offer safety, patience, compassion, and humor. I follow my intuition, and I use unconventional tools like Tarot. I can help you trust your inner wisdom and trust the answers within you. I know how to hold space for emotional pain. I believe that much of our pain stems from childhood wounds, and the only way to heal is to feel.
