You’re used to being the strong one, the one your family depends on, but lately, the anxiety feels constant, your mind won’t slow down, and you don’t quite feel like yourself anymore. You may be carrying the weight of family expectations, cultural identity, or past experiences that still feel heavy. I work with Latinx and BIPOC adults, especially women, who are navigating anxiety, trauma, and the pressure of being first-generation or holding multiple identities. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck internally. My approach integrates EMDR and trauma-informed therapy to help you process what you’ve been carrying, not just talk about it. Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences, family dynamics, and cultural stories have shaped how you see yourself and begin to shift patterns that no longer serve you. As a bicultural, first-generation therapist, I understand the complexity of navigating different worlds and expectations. You don’t have to explain or justify your cultural experience here. This is a space where all parts of you are welcome. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to do it alone. If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out or schedule a consultation so we can see if this feels like the right fit.
