Jessenia is a latina therapist and community educator dedicated to creating spaces where healing, community, and empowerment intersect.
As a daughter of Colombian immigrants, with a New York City upbringing, Jessenia saw firsthand the beauty that came from her community’s commitment to collective care. Her community inspired her work centering connection and conversation to continue expanding the conversation around emotional health. She strives to help folks walk away (re)connected with accessible wisdom and tools that help build a deeper connection with themselves and those around them.
Jessenia fosters community-building in learning environments that are both practical and enriching on an individual and interpersonal level. She participates in panels, facilitates professional development trainings, and leads presentations and workshops for therapists, educators, and community members/organizations.
