About Iliamari Vazquez Houston, LCSW

Iliamari Vazquez Houston is an Arizona Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who specializes in providing trauma therapy to individuals. Iliamari has more than 15 years providing guidance in diverse community settings. As a BIPOC member of the community and a therapist, Iliamari uses her past experiences to provided a safe and nonjudgemental space for clients to heal. Her expertise is in processing past traumatic events, family issues and generational cycles, anxiety and stress, perinatal/postpartum journeys, and BIPOC first responder families. She takes a person-centered approach to ensure therapy is a safe experience. Using EMDR, CBT, talk therapy, solution focused, mindfulness and grounding; she personalizes every treatment plan to fit her client’s needs. Iliamari believes that a holistic approach and self care is key because if you aren’t taking care of yourself, you can’t care for others.
