Speaker Bio

Evelynn is a licensed marriage and family therapist in California. Evelynn is the owner of her private therapy practice that specializes in supporting BIPOC folks dealing with trauma, anxiety, issues related to family and identity. She has experience working with children, teens, families, and parents throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, including work in schools to treat issues related to trauma. Evelynn also has experience with coordinating and facilitating trainings for a community mental health clinic to support the organization with implementing trauma informed practices.

As a Mexican-American woman, mother, daughter and wife, Evelynn is passionate about providing culturally and trauma responsive services that address the systemic trauma on groups in marginalized communities, and the identity intersections of being Latinx.
