psychiatric units, and private practice. She specializes in working with First-Generation professionals, college/graduate students, undocumented/immigrant individuals, and Latine families. Additionally, Dr. Hernandez currently provides bilingual clinical supervision to school social workers. As a First-Gen Latina professional, she also supports First-Gen Latine college and graduate students through mentorship including training and supervising master-level trainees. Dr. Hernandez is an accomplished and passionate speaker with expertise in mental health among Latine communities, professional identity, imposter phenomenon, anxiety and stress management, trauma and resilience, wellness, self-care, and destigmatizing mental health and therapy.
