About Dr. Victoria Blacksmith

Dr. Victoria Blacksmith is a Clinical Psychologist, nonprofit CEO, and cultural wellness consultant. As a first-generation daughter of farmworkers, she brings personal and professional insight into the intersections of mental health, leadership, and cultural identity. Her work is rooted in decolonized approaches to care and community-based healing practices that honor ancestral knowledge.

Dr. Blacksmith leads Granite Wellness Centers, a multi-site behavioral health nonprofit, and is co-founder of The Blacksmith Institute, a consulting and research firm focused on culturally rooted leadership development, systems transformation, and Indigenous healing practices. Her speaking engagements create space for reflection, learning, and growth, especially around themes of identity, resilience, equity, and leadership.

She presents to therapists, educators, organizations, and community leaders on topics such as cultural humility, first-generation experiences, psychological safety, privilege, and bicultural leadership. Dr. Blacksmith’s approach centers authenticity, respect, and ancestral wisdom while challenging systems to do better by the communities they serve.
