Ms. Carla Avalos is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional who was born and raised in Los Angeles, C.A. and is a daughter of a Salvadoran immigrant mother. Ms.Avalos works full-time a Clinical supervisor for L.A.County Dept. Of Mental Health and also has a part time private practice providing individual and couples therapy. Ms. Avalos is passionate about discussing topics related to Dating and relationship challenges, navigating being a first generation individual, healing from generational trauma, implementing self care and wellness strategies for mental health professionals , postpartum depression and anxiety in the Latinx Community and empowering women to lead a fulfilling life regardless of relationship status.
Ms. Avalos aspires to create an empowering, supportive and non-judgmental healing space that allows her to encourage and inspire both individuals and couples to break unhealthy generational trauma patterns and behaviors.
