I’m a first-generation Latina therapist, born and raised in New York City, and I bring a culturally grounded, trauma-informed approach to my work. Growing up between cultures, I understand how family expectations, identity, and cultural values can shape the way we relate to ourselves and others.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, grief and loss, trauma, dissociation, relationship concerns, and questions around identity and belonging. Many of my clients are used to holding a great deal together on the outside while privately carrying emotional overwhelm, unresolved grief, or relational patterns that keep repeating.
Therapy with me is a space where you can speak openly, in English, Spanish, or Spanglish, without having to translate or minimize your experience. Together, we explore emotional patterns, family roles, and relational wounds with curiosity and care, helping you build greater self-understanding, self-trust, and connection.
My approach is relational, insight-oriented, and informed by advanced training in Trauma Studies at the Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis. I integrate psychodynamic, parts-based, and somatic approaches while paying close attention to how culture, relationships, and personal history shape emotional experience.
I strive to create a space that feels warm, collaborative, grounded, and deeply human. If you’re looking for therapy that honors culture, relationships, and emotional complexity, I invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation.
