As a Latinx, first generation, biliterate licensed mental health counselor, I firmly believe that mental health is an important aspect of overall health and wellbeing. I also know how difficult it is to seek support and honor the courage it takes to show up for yourself in this way. I enjoy working with individuals from diverse populations facing relational difficulties as well as anxiety/depression through a trauma-focused, culturally responsive lens.
My therapeutic approach is highly empathetic, client-centered, and strengths-based, which aims to empower individuals to tap into their inherent potential. As a direct clinician, you can expect a mix of humor and curiosity as we work collaboratively to explore your mental health needs, co-create resilience, and cultivate your very best self.
Clients have often shared that they felt seen, understood and valued in our sessions. Combining my therapeutic style and a mix of evidence-based practices clients can expect to walk away from our sessions feeling empowered and energized to work on their personal growth and mental health goals.
