About Olivia Alvizo-Johnson, LCSW

You’ve been the “good responsible daughter” for too long and it’s time to hang up that hat. Just by being here, you’ve broken the cycle. You’ve paused to ask, “is there a better way to care for myself?” You’re tired of carrying it all. You’re a resilient woman who did her best to survive a chaotic childhood. You are the first in your family to move out, graduate college, start a career you feel proud of but you’re still feeling guilty and anxious. You doubt yourself because you had to figure things out by yourself, like you had to growing up. You’re now at a place in your life where you want to deepen your understanding of  yourself, your past, and find new ways of caring for yourself that are not in survival mode.

I help millennial and gen z women ease the guilt and anxiety by learning how to set boundaries without guilt and embody self-respect, confidence, and self-trust in order to reconnect with yourself in a new loving way. In therapy, we will work slowly and intentionally to release emotional exhaustion stored in your body, build self-compassion and emotional awareness, understand patterns shaped by trauma, and create a space for relief, clarity, and self-trust.

Your life is already full, therapy should meet you where you are and not ask you to give more than you have. Healing happens in a way that respects your time, your boundaries and your nervous system. Curious about starting? I encourage you to send me a message to schedule your free 15 phone consultation! I can’t wait to hear from you.
