My name is Jasmine Cepeda, LCSW. With over 11 years of clinical experience, my therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in helping folks process difficult transitions, & painful emotions.
At the heart of my practice is a simple belief: all human beings long to feel seen, heard, understood, and accepted. As a therapist, I offer a warm, safe, and patient space where this experience is possible.
Whether you’re carrying unresolved wounds from the past or feeling distressed by your current relationships or responsibilities, I’m here to help you make sense of your experience. Together, we’ll work to strengthen emotional regulation and deepen self-reflection.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic and highly personalized, employing a combination of the following modalities: Emotion Focused/ Psychodynamic Therapy and Mindfulness-based/Somatic-based Therapy. In addition, my work is trauma-informed, which means your past experiences are honored with care, curiosity, and respect.
Lastly, as a native New Yorker and first-generation Latina, I bring a culturally responsive and anti-oppressive lens to therapy.
Outside of therapy, I find joy and balance through yoga and meditation, practices that gently inform and enrich my clinical work.
