~Helping First-Gen Latinas Navigate Life Transitions, Stress, and Healing with Compassion
About Me
Hi! I’m so proud of you for taking this step towards your personal growth journey. 🌱
I am a bilingual (Spanish/English) First-Generation Latina from Southern California, and I deeply understand how culture, early experiences, and family dynamics shape how we show up in the world and in our relationships.
I work with Latina women in their 30s and 40s who may be:
Balancing multiple roles (career, motherhood, caregiving)
Navigating life transitions (moving out, having children, changing jobs, or experiencing loss)
Coping with stress, anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem
Carrying the impact of past trauma and wanting to break cycles
My Approach
I take an eclectic approach tailored to each client’s needs. This includes:
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): Exploring the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Attachment-Based & Psychodynamic: Understanding how early relationships and experiences impact present challenges.
Person-Centered: Holding space for your voice, your pace, and your goals.
My priority is to help you feel better and meet your therapy goals. I work at your pace and will gently challenge you when you’re ready to challenge yourself. I believe strongly in the therapeutic relationship, so I offer a free 20-minute consultation to see if we are the right fit.
Why I Do This Work
As a Latina therapist, I know the unique challenges that come with being first-generation—navigating cultural expectations, intergenerational family dynamics, and the pressures of succeeding while also caring for others. You don’t have to go through it alone. Therapy is a space where you can show up as your full self, in English or Spanish, and be supported without judgment.
✨ Let’s connect! You deserve a safe space to heal, grow, and step into the version of yourself you’re striving for.
