About Me
I believe in the healing power of connection and community. Starting therapy is a powerful act of self-care and a hopeful step toward a more meaningful future. When we work to understand and heal ourselves, we also create the foundation for healthier relationships and stronger communities.
As a first-generation Mexican-American, bisexual, femme, I draw strength from the richness of my intersecting identities. As such, I do not subscribe to the idea that therapists should be blank slates. While I maintain appropriate therapeutic boundaries, I believe it’s important for clients to have a clear sense of who they’re working with in order to build trust, connection, and mutual respect.
Outside of my work as a therapist—and my own ongoing therapeutic work—I recharge by spending time with loved ones, getting lost in a good book, laughing until my stomach hurts, attending live music and shows, and walking in nature. These are the practices that help keep me grounded, joyful, and present.
My Practice
My primary goal as a therapist is to meet you where you are and use my training to collaboratively support your growth. Think of me as your guide to helping you explore, map, and understand your inner landscape so that you can gain deeper insight into your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches to best meet your needs, including:
Our work together will be collaborative and adaptive—balancing structure with space for reflection and emotional exploration.
Who I Work With
I have extensive experience supporting adults from diverse backgrounds in navigating a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, neurodivergence (ADHD, autism), burnout, relationship issues, and major life transitions.
My practice is rooted in hope and liberation. I’m deeply committed to working with traditionally underserved communities, including:
I look forward to supporting you as you embrace and celebrate your authentic self. Together, we can cultivate resilience, deepen self-understanding, and move toward the life you want to live.
