Do you find it hard to rest when you can’t stop thinking about what you are “supposed to be doing” or what “you should have done”? Is it hard to connect to others and sometimes prefer to not even try because you feel hopeless? Do you repeatedly think about an incident even though years have passed by and it still hurts just the same. Together we can work together to manage these thoughts to live a life they love.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science in Psychology with Minor in Child and Family Studies and then went on to complete my Master’s in Social Work. I am a born and raised New Yorker who believes that this city can provide so much but can also feel very isolating. I have experience in working with individuals who are struggling with a variety of concerns: depression, anxiety relationship issues, difficulty connecting with family, struggling to adjust to life transitions and social challenges. I have worked with individuals who have lived through domestic violence, emotional, physical and sexual abuse.
My counseling style is warm, engaging, and non-judgmental so that we can walk the path of healing together. I use a mix of therapeutic styles (psychodynamic, CBT, Pain Reprocessing Therapy and EMDR) to address trauma that continues to affect how we interact with others.
