Anxiety can look like knowing you are spiraling and still being unable to stop. Everyday stress, relationships, life transitions, difficult decisions, or uncertainty can lead to overthinking, emotional flooding, self-doubt, reassurance-seeking, and feeling unable to trust your own perceptions or responses.
I work with women and specialize in anxiety, anxious attachment, relationship anxiety, emotional dysregulation, jealousy, and codependency. Many of the women I work with are intelligent, insightful, and highly self-aware. They understand where their patterns come from, yet still struggle to change the reaction once it begins.
I understand this experience professionally and personally. I have lived through breakups, relationship insecurity, uncertainty, and the kind of spiraling that can make you lose trust in yourself. I know how consuming these patterns can feel, and I also know they can be resolved.
I consider myself both a therapist and a strategist. My sessions are active, focused, and designed to help you understand what is driving the pattern, work with what happens in your mind and body, and develop practical ways to respond differently in your relationships. I combine somatic and trauma-informed therapy, nervous system regulation, Accelerated Resolution Therapy® (ART), subconscious pattern work, psychoeducation, and direct guidance.
For clients who are open to it, I may also incorporate psychological astrology as an additional lens for exploring emotional needs, inner conflict, attachment patterns, and recurring relationship themes. Astrology is always optional.
I am warm, engaged, and collaborative. I enjoy teaching women about the psychological and nervous system processes behind what they are experiencing, and I genuinely appreciate their questions, curiosity, and willingness to learn. You will have space to process what you are feeling while also receiving insight, strategy, and support applying what we uncover outside of sessions.
As a first-generation Latina therapist, I understand how family roles, cultural expectations, loyalty, guilt, over-responsibility, and the pressure to remain strong can influence anxiety, codependency, and relationships. These patterns can make it difficult to express your needs without guilt, separate caring from overfunctioning, or stop taking responsibility for another person’s emotions.
My virtual practice provides scheduled, non-crisis outpatient therapy. I am unable to accept or continue treatment with clients experiencing active suicidal ideation, passive suicidal ideation with current safety risk, severe depression in crisis, or other acute psychiatric instability.
