About Alondra Hernandez, M.A, LMFT

I work with kids, teens, young adults, and new parents who are navigating big emotions, identity, cultural expectations, or major life changes. If you’ve felt stuck, overwhelmed, or like you’re always trying to meet everyone else’s expectations, I can help. I listen closely and create space for you to think out loud without judgment. I’m direct and warm and believe therapy is a partnership: We’ll define goals together from the start and revisit them as you grow. Reach out when you’re ready, and we can talk through what brought you in.

I use DBT and CBT as the foundation, and I adapt my approach based on what you need and what’s actually happening in your life. My approach is collaborative and practical. We’ll work together to build skills that help you manage what you’re facing, not just talk about it. You’ll leave sessions with tools you can actually use.

Starting therapy takes courage, and I’m glad you’re here. Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve already tried, and what you’re hoping for. It’s normal to feel nervous. Therapy is a process we’ll build together over time.
