You may be the person everyone relies on, the capable one, the strong one, the one who keeps everything moving. But beneath that competence, you may feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, or caught in patterns you understand intellectually but still struggle to change.
I’m a bilingual Latina therapist of Mexican and Salvadoran heritage and the founder of New Moon Therapy. I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, spiritual exploration, attachment wounds, people-pleasing, perfectionism, life transitions, and the complicated emotions that can come with family and cultural expectations. I especially enjoy helping those who are ready to stop abandoning themselves in order to maintain connection with others.
My approach is warm, direct, collaborative, and culturally responsive. Therapy with me is not about judging you or telling you what you “should” do. We will get curious about how your experiences shaped the ways you protect yourself, relate to others, and respond to stress. From there, we can work toward changes that feel meaningful and sustainable instead of just intellectually understood.
I integrate EMDR, parts work, schema therapy, CBT, DBT, somatic interventions, and attachment-based approaches according to each client’s needs. I also welcome conversations about spirituality, identity, and generational patterns when those are meaningful to you.
You do not have to keep carrying everything alone. Together, I can help you feel more grounded, understand yourself more deeply, strengthen your relationships, and build a life that feels like your own.
