I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed clinical psychologist offering fully online therapy and psychological assessments for adults across California. My work centers on trauma, grief, adult ADHD, depression, and anxiety — plus comprehensive adult ADHD and adult autism assessments delivered with a neurodivergent-affirming approach.
Many of my clients are Latinos navigating the complex, often invisible work of healing within bicultural families and identities. You may be carrying generational trauma that your family doesn’t talk about but keeps showing up in your body and your relationships. You may be processing losses that your community grieves differently, or that others in your life don’t understand. You may be a first-generation college graduate, a first-generation professional, or the “one who made it out” — carrying pressure that no one around you fully sees.
Some of you are discovering that your brain works differently — ADHD, autism, both — after years of assuming something was wrong with you, or being told to “just try harder.” I do comprehensive adult ADHD and autism assessments from a neurodivergent-affirming lens. Autism and ADHD are not deficits to be measured, but rather are a way of being that deserves to be understood clearly so you can live in it with less shame and better tools.
My training and approach
I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology and completed clinical rotations across a range of settings — from bilingual Systemic Family Therapy at the Latino Family Therapy Center, to CBT-based work at community mental health, to medical psychology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, to psychological testing in a university setting. After graduation, I focused on trauma work in low-income communities across Van Nuys and South Los Angeles.
I’ve been a clinical supervisor for over ten years, training and supervising therapists who range from newly-graduated associates to seasoned licensed clinicians, with a particular focus on those practicing trauma-focused therapy. Teaching keeps me sharp and accountable to how the field is actually evolving — and it keeps my own clinical work grounded in current research and best practice.
My training includes EMDR, DBT, trauma-focused therapy, attachment-informed work, grief-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. I use the modality that fits what you’re bringing in — not a one-size-fits-all approach.
How I work
Therapy with me is warm and direct. I create a space safe enough to go to the harder places, and I hold both nurturing empathy and honest feedback — because sometimes what heals is being gently told what you already know. I don’t do vague, wandering conversations that don’t move anything. My clients often tell me they appreciate that they feel both cared for and challenged in our work together.
I keep my caseload intentionally small so you get real attention. Bilingual sessions are available — if Spanish is your first language, your soul language, or the language you want to grieve in, we can absolutely do the work in Spanish.
