You are not here by accident or coincidence. You already know that things could be better, should be better. Perhaps you have felt isolated, marginalized, misunderstood, fearful, angry, or despondent. You may feel burned out due to caregiving, professional or academic exhaustion, racial or spiritual trauma, community organizing or activism, compassion fatigue, or grief. Maybe you have felt this way for a long time, or maybe you are in a season of acute transition.
Regardless of what has brought you here, I would be privileged to walk alongside you and be part of your community. I am available to support you by strengthening your connection to self, to others, and to the world around you.
Whether we meet in person or virtually, we will integrate nature, gentle movement, your spiritual/ancestral identity (whatever form that takes for you), and/or EMDR. For those who can meet in person, you will have the opportunity to be surrounded by our therapeutic Walk Intuit horses, our gentle flock of chickens, and various plants and herbs.
I hold a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University, with an emphasis in Latinx Communities. I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT, 163385) working under the supervision of Jessica Orel-Mathon (LMFT, 84884). My education and training have been grounded in trauma-informed, somatic, narrative, and eco-liberation psychology. In addition, I have had the honor of supporting individuals, families, and communities for over twenty-five years in education, youth, family, and community development, specifically with those from marginalized identities and communities. I look forward to meeting you.
Inclusion of individual and group practices on our website does not mean we directly endorse or recommend their services. All of our members offer a free consultation and we recommend screening any and all potential therapists before beginning your therapy services. For any issues, please contact us via email. Therapists listed practice independently.
