About Maritza Flores, ACSW

Hello, I am Maritza! I know that healing from trauma can feel overwhelming, especially when painful experiences from the past continue to impact your relationships, self-esteem, emotional well-being, or ability to feel safe and connected. You may find yourself struggling with anxiety, depression, overthinking, emotional overwhelm, painful memories, relationship difficulties, or patterns that seem difficult to understand or change. You may know that you want things to feel different but aren’t sure where to begin.

As an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), I provide compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for individuals seeking support with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and difficult life transitions. I understand that our family experiences, relationships, culture, and past experiences can shape the way we see ourselves and navigate the world. My approach is warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, and nonjudgmental, creating a space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.

In therapy, we can explore the experiences and patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck while developing practical tools to manage anxiety, regulate difficult emotions, strengthen boundaries, improve relationships, and build greater confidence in yourself. Rather than simply focusing on symptoms, we can work toward understanding the deeper experiences contributing to how you feel today.

I believe healing happens when you feel emotionally safe enough to show up as your authentic self. My goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, strengthen your coping skills, reconnect with your strengths, and create meaningful changes that support your emotional well-being and relationships.

Whether you are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, family or relationship concerns, or simply feel ready to better understand yourself, therapy can be a place to begin. You do not have to navigate everything on your own. I would be honored to support you as you work toward healing, growth, and a life that feels more grounded, connected, and fulfilling. Feel free to reach out for a free 15 minute phone consultation.
