About Mary Sosa, MA, LPC

Maybe anxiety has taken over your thoughts, and your mind won’t slow down. You’re always overthinking conversations, wondering if you said the wrong thing or let someone down. Maybe motherhood has left you feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or unsure of who you are. Maybe you’re pregnant or postpartum but feel disconnected, anxious, or lonely. Or perhaps you’re trying to quietly carry the grief of losing someone irreplaceable in your life and navigating living life without them.  Grief can also accompany other meaningful losses that change your life in unexpected ways.

You may feel disconnected from yourself or wonder if you’ll ever feel like “you” again. Life’s experiences can change us, but they don’t have to define us.

I’m a bilingual therapist and founder of Claridad Counseling. I specialize in:

• Anxiety & Overthinking

• Motherhood & Maternal Mental Health

• Grief & Loss

I work with women across Texas who are ready to understand what’s beneath their anxiety, make space for their grief, or navigate the emotional changes that can come with motherhood.

I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to be yourself without feeling judged or like you have to have everything figured out.

Tu historia es bienvenida aquí.

My role is to offer a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as we make sense of what’s been weighing on you. Together, we’ll explore the experiences, relationships, and patterns that may be contributing to your anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or the changes that can come with motherhood, grief, and other life transitions.

As you gain a better understanding of yourself, we’ll identify what’s no longer serving you and build practical tools that help you move forward. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more connected to yourself and better equipped to navigate life in a way that feels authentic to who you are today.  Con claridad. Con compasión. Contigo.
