About Evelin Villa LCSW, PPSC/CWA

I’m Evelin Villa, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Corazón Wellness. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and gently supported as we make sense of what’s been weighing on you. I use a trauma-informed approach because I know that difficult experiences don’t just live in our memories—they can show up in our thoughts, emotions, relationships, and even physically in our bodies. When it’s appropriate, I also integrate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a therapy that helps the brain process painful experiences so they no longer feel as overwhelming or keep you feeling stuck. You never have to rush into EMDR, and we’ll decide together whether it’s the right fit for your healing journey.

As a Latina therapist, I understand how family, culture, and lived experiences can shape the way we see ourselves and the choices we make. Whether you’re learning to set boundaries without guilt, breaking generational patterns, navigating anxiety, healing from trauma, or simply longing to feel like yourself again, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign that it’s okay to ask for help, this is it. Healing doesn’t require you to have everything figured out—it begins with one conversation. De todo corazón, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you begin this journey.
