My path to becoming a therapist is deeply shaped by lived experience and professional training. As a daughter of Central American immigrants and a first-gen college student, I grew up navigating multiple worlds, often doing many “firsts” in my family. Professionally, I’ve supported families in my own Latinx community as well as BIPOC communities in various settings such as clinics, schools, and families’ homes. My work centers on supporting young adults and individuals navigating infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. These experiences inform my trauma-informed, social justice approach and my commitment to creating spaces where clients feel seen and supported in living lives aligned with who they are and who they are becoming.
Going to therapy is a big and vulnerable step, and I take the therapeutic relationship seriously. From intake onward, my priority is creating a space where therapy truly makes sense to you. Many clients come in feeling like they’re already drowning, so our work is paced to help you feel balanced and see light at the end of the tunnel. My style blends gentle guidance, challenging you when appropriate, and using a touch of humor when needed—because laughter is part of the healing. Many clients notice some relief within a few sessions as we support nervous system regulation and explore what changes feel possible. I work best with clients who are curious about patterns and ready to explore identity shifts, relationships, and breaking cycles.
I am in network with Carrot, Sutter EAP, Aetna, and United Health Care. I am considered an out of network provider for all other insurances. You may be able to get reimbursed up to 80% for out-of-network therapy, especially if you have a PPO. Please reach out for more information.
