Yamerely is a dedicated clinician who earned her Doctorate in Counseling and Psychological Studies from Regent University and her Master’s in Social Work from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. She brings a strong clinical foundation and a compassionate, client-centered approach, supporting individuals and families in navigating life’s challenges and creating meaningful, lasting change.
Dr. Salvador has experience working with children, adolescents, and families facing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and life transitions. She works with diverse and marginalized populations, approaching care through a culturally responsive and strengths-based lens.
Yamerely’s clinical work is rooted in trauma-informed, evidence-based practices, including TF-CBT and CBT, while also integrating a holistic view of well-being. For clients who wish to incorporate spirituality into their healing, she offers faith-based integration as part of the therapeutic process.
In your work together, you can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood. Yamerely helps clients identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck while building practical tools and coping strategies they can begin using right away. She works collaboratively and at a pace that feels comfortable, creating an environment where growth feels possible and sustainable.
