Cultural Identities

About Reina Arevalo, LCPC

Life can feel like a constant balancing act—meeting the demands of your career, caring for your family, and trying to find time for yourself. As a bilingual Latinx Psychotherapist, I provide a supportive, culturally responsive space where children, adolescents, and adults can navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity.

With more than 10 years of experience working within the school system, I have extensive experience supporting children ages 6 and older, teens, young adults, and families through academic, emotional, behavioral, and life transitions. My background allows me to understand the unique challenges children face while also helping parents feel empowered and supported throughout the therapeutic process.

I also specialize in working with working professionals who are managing anxiety, work-related stress, burnout, family dynamics, and relationship conflict. Whether you’re juggling career goals with personal responsibilities, navigating cultural expectations, or struggling to establish healthy boundaries, therapy can provide the tools and insight needed to create meaningful change.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and Person-Centered Therapy to help clients build practical coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and develop greater self-awareness. Together, we’ll identify patterns that no longer serve you while building the resilience and confidence to move forward.

As a bilingual Latina therapist, I understand the importance of feeling seen, heard, and understood—not only as an individual but within the context of your culture, family, and lived experiences. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you can show up authentically, explore your challenges without judgment, and work toward lasting emotional wellness.

Healing doesn’t require perfection—it begins with taking the first step. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward growth, balance, and well-being.
