Cultural Identities

About Kristine Santiago, EMDR & Trauma Recovery

You’ve spent years holding it together, for your family, your community, maybe even the people who hurt you. Perhaps you grew up between two worlds, carrying the weight of your family’s sacrifices while trying to figure out where you actually belong. Something happened to you, and no matter how much time has passed, there has been a part of you that is still carrying it.

I work with women, particularly Black and Latina women, including those from immigrant families or navigating life between two cultures, who have been healing from childhood trauma, sexual abuse, and the weight of experiences they were never given space to process.

You don’t have to minimize your story with me or explain your culture, faith, or why it took so long to ask for help. This space is for you. Using EMDR and a trauma-informed approach, we will work through what is stuck, not just talk about it.  Healing is more than just understanding what happened; it is a feeling that changes your body,  relationships, and how you see yourself.  If you are ready to stop surviving and actually live, then I would love to connect. Reach out for a 15-minute consultation today!
