Welcome — I’m really glad you’re here.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when anxiety feels constant, emotions feel intense, or you find yourself stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break. If you’re feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself or your relationships, or confused by your reactions, you’re not alone. Therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what’s coming up, and begin creating meaningful, lasting change.
I work with adults and couples, with a focus on women of color and first-generation children of immigrants navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. Many of my clients appear high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed or disconnected internally. Together, we explore how past experiences — including childhood and relational trauma — continue to shape your emotions, nervous system, and relationship patterns. I also offer therapy for therapists who are navigating burnout, compassion fatigue, or the emotional weight of caring for others.
As a bilingual Spanish-speaking therapist, I provide sessions in both English and Spanish. My approach is somatic, relational, and psychodynamic, meaning we don’t just talk about your experiences — we work with how they live in your body and nervous system. Therapy is collaborative and tailored to your pace, helping you build emotional regulation, self-trust, and deeper connection in your life and relationships.
Somatic Therapy & Brainspotting
Somatic therapy is a core part of my work. Your body carries the imprint of your experiences, and your nervous system has been working to protect you — even when it doesn’t feel that way. Through somatic and mindfulness-based practices, I help you reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and feel more grounded and present in your daily life. I also integrate Brainspotting, a body-based trauma therapy that helps process emotional experiences stored deep within the brain and body. This approach can be especially helpful if you feel stuck in patterns that haven’t shifted through talk therapy alone, allowing for deeper, more lasting change.
Couples & Relational Therapy
I work with both new and long-term couples who want to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, and move out of reactive patterns. Using Imago Relationship Therapy, I guide partners in slowing down, deepening understanding, and building a stronger emotional foundation so they can feel more connected and secure in their relationship. I also support adult child–parent relationships, especially when family-of-origin dynamics continue to impact present-day connection and boundaries.
