Cultural Identities

About Adilene Alvarado, ASW

I’m a therapist deeply passionate and committed to supporting individuals as they navigate their healing journeys. I believe in the power of a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore, grow, and reconnect with themselves. My approach is grounded in warmth, cultural humility, and a deep respect for your unique story.

As a proud Latina therapist, I hold a special place in my heart for working with the Latinx community and supporting clients through challenges related to identity, intergenerational trauma, and emotional well-being. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, and I strive to create an inclusive, affirming space for all.

I utilize evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy to help clients build resilience, develop coping tools, and gain deeper insight into their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. My clinical experience includes working with adolescents, families, and individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.

I earned my Master’s in Social Work from California State University, East Bay in 2023, and have remained dedicated to lifelong learning and growth in this field. Above all, I am committed to walking alongside you with compassion, care, and curiosity—honoring your pace, your voice, and your strengths.

Healing isn’t always linear, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to support you every step of the way
