If you’ve been feeling stuck in anxiety, overwhelmed by intrusive thoughts, or exhausted by patterns you can’t seem to turn off, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to keep carrying it by yourself.
I work with teens and adults who are struggling with OCD and anxiety, including intrusive thoughts, rumination, reassurance-seeking, checking, avoidance, and the constant mental back-and-forth that can make everyday life feel exhausting. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and not judged for what you’re experiencing.
Many of the people I work with have spent a long time feeling confused by their symptoms or misunderstood by others. You may look like you’re functioning on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed on the inside. Together, we can work to better understand what’s happening, identify the patterns keeping you stuck, and begin taking meaningful steps toward change.
My approach is warm, steady, and collaborative. I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), an evidence-based treatment for OCD and anxiety disorders, to help clients gradually face fears, reduce avoidance, and build confidence in handling uncertainty. I also work from a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens, recognizing that family dynamics, culture, identity, and life experiences can shape how anxiety shows up and how healing happens.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 13 years in public education supporting children and families navigating anxiety, trauma, and chronic stress. That experience continues to shape the way I show up in this work — with patience, compassion, and a deep respect for how hard it can be to ask for help.
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Master Social Worker in Texas practicing under clinical supervision. I earned my Master of Social Work and my B.A. in English Literature from the University of Texas at Arlington. My training includes intensive ERP training, social anxiety disorder training, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and introductory training in CPT, TF-CBT, and Internal Family Systems.
