Welcome to Your Safe and Supportive Space
Greetings! My name is Luz Liriano, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with over seven years of experience providing compassionate support to individuals, including children, adolescents, and families, as they navigate life’s challenges. My areas of expertise include crisis intervention, client advocacy, and helping individuals achieve their personal goals.
I recognize that life can present difficult moments, but I want to reassure you that you do not have to face these challenges alone. I am committed to supporting you as you process your emotions and empowering you to recognize your unique strengths. You are a valued individual, and I am here to support and guide you throughout your journey.
Therapeutic Approach:
My therapeutic approach is strengths-based, rooted in the belief that every individual holds capacities and resources that can be nurtured to navigate life’s challenges. I also emphasize trauma-informed care, recognizing the importance of understanding your experiences in creating a healing and validating space. In addition, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and address unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. By working together through CBT, we can reframe these patterns and foster healthier thinking, emotional responses, and behaviors.
About Me:
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy reading and spending quality time with my family, particularly my 3-year-old daughter. I find joy in cooking and often provide life guidance to friends. As a Spanish speaker, I value the opportunity to connect with my Spanish-speaking community and enjoy exploring diverse cuisines and cultural experiences. I believe that the purpose of life is to be compassionate, purposeful, and to create meaningful change in both your own life and the lives of others.
Luz Liriano, LMSW
