Hello! My name is Daphne Munoz (she/her/hers) and I am a licensed, bilingual therapist. I began my journey as a therapist because of a desire to help others lead healthy, fulfilling lives. I believe that our past experiences, whether good or bad, shape our beliefs about ourselves, the world, and affect how we relate to others. Growing up as a first generation Latina, I also understand the impact that culture and traditional values have on our day to day functioning. It is my goal as a therapist to meet my clients where they are and help them process these difficult experiences while also empowering them to make positive changes.
My focus is helping clients who are struggling with their relationships, going through a difficult life or role transition, struggling with low self-esteem, and/or dealing with depression/anxiety. My therapeutic style is supportive and non-judgmental. I like to work collaboratively with my clients to identify behavior patterns keeping them stuck, learn to set healthier boundaries with others, and challenge negative thinking patterns.
I believe that in order for you to be successful in therapy you have to feel comfortable with your therapist. Please reach out if you are ready to take this next step in your journey. I offer a free 15 minute consultation to answer any questions you may have and discuss how I can best support you. I look forward to being part of your journey.
