Cultural Identities

About Veronica Paris LICSW

Navigating the world as a neurodivergent person—especially within systems that weren’t built for cultural or neurological diversity—can be exhausting. Many of my clients come to therapy carrying the weight of chronic stress, anxiety, burnout, or self-doubt, often shaped by years of masking, marginalization, or feeling misunderstood.

As a Latina therapist, I offer a space where your lived experience is seen, respected, and supported. I provide neurodivergent-affirming and culturally responsive therapy for adults, adolescents, and families. I also offer ADHD and Autism (ASD) screenings, as well as psychosocial immigration evaluations for hardship waivers, asylum, VAWA, and related cases.

I hold deep respect for how culture, language, identity, family systems, and intergenerational trauma influence mental health. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as CBT, ACT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. I tailor my work to each person’s nervous system, communication style, and sensory needs—with practical tools to support regulation and resilience.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 12 years of experience across outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, community mental health, and private practice. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my Master of Social Work with a clinical specialization.

If you’re exploring your identity, struggling with emotional regulation, seeking accommodations, or in need of documentation support for immigration, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Therapy is a space for healing, growth, and reclaiming your voice—and I invite you to reach out for a consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
