Edzeida Perez is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in the state of Texas who is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate emotional, academic, and life challenges. She brings a compassionate, patient, and encouraging presence into the therapy space, helping clients feel supported as they build confidence and emotional awareness.
Edzeida has extensive experience working in school-based and educational settings, including elementary and secondary schools. She has supported students through anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, academic stress, and social-emotional development, and has experience facilitating both individual counseling and social-emotional learning (SEL) groups. Her background in special education allows her to thoughtfully support children with diverse learning and developmental needs.

Edzeida believes in collaborating closely with clients and families to create a supportive environment that fosters growth both inside and outside of sessions.
Edzeida is fluent in Spanish and has experience working with bilingual clients and families, allowing her to provide culturally responsive care that honors each client’s background and lived experience. She strives to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.
Edzeida earned her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where she graduated with honors. She is committed to ongoing growth as a clinician and to making a meaningful, positive impact in the lives of the individuals and families she serves.
