Cultural Identities

About Mayra Rangel, LMFT

I’m Mayra (She/Ella), a bilingual first and a half generation Latina and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am dedicated to helping adults break cycles and patterns to heal and live the fulfilling life they have envisioned.

I work from a trauma informed and social justice informed framework, striving to offer a space full of empathy, kindness and authenticity to  and help you live the life you’ve imagined.

I specialize in range of mental health topics including trauma, relationship/ family difficulties, life transitions, anxiety, depression and cultural stress as it pertains to first-generation/ immigrant, BIPOC, and queer communities. I integrate mind and body/ somatic approaches, ultimately tailoring my approaches to your individual needs.

My work is anchored in culturally affirming and inclusive methods. I strive to honor your story and create a space where you feel honored, heard, empowered and supported. I understand initiating therapy can be nerve-wrecking which is why I provide a kind and non-judgemental space to support you through your healing process.
