About Celeste Gallegos Vazquez, LCSW at AXOLOT CENTER Mental Health Counseling

Hello, my name is Celeste Gallegos Vazquez, LCSW. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with three years of experience providing mental health services to diverse communities. My expertise includes working with children, adolescents, and families from various cultural backgrounds, and supporting individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, immigration-related trauma, and other trauma-related stressors. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and trained in Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP), which guide my evidence-based approach to care.

As a Mexican immigrant, I hold a deep appreciation for cultural strengths and understand the challenges that can accompany the acculturation process, including the emotional impact of migration and resettlement. My personal and professional experience reinforces my commitment to creating a safe and inclusive therapeutic space where clients navigating immigration trauma feel validated and supported.

I am honored to provide bilingual services and offer culturally responsive care in both English and Spanish, ensuring that clients feel understood and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey. My practice is grounded in compassion and strengths-based principles, and I firmly believe in the power of community and connection as pathways to healing and personal growth.
