Saludos! I’m Rosalba Gama-Hernandez, a first-generation Mexican American and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over seven years of experience in mental health and two decades in the field of education. As the eldest daughter of immigrants, I have a deep understanding of the complex intersections of culture, identity, belonging, and well-being. This lived experience grounds my appreciation for culturally responsive, trauma-informed care that honors the unique stories and strengths of each individual and family.
In my practice, I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy to support clients in building awareness, resilience, and meaningful change. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where individuals and families feel seen, heard, and valued—spaces where healing and growth are not only possible but celebrated. Much of my work centers on advocating for Latino and Immigrant communities, addressing barriers to care through education and cultural awareness.
Together, we will explore the thoughts, memories, and experiences that shape your life, identify patterns and strengths, and work toward a deeper connection to yourself and those around you. It would be an honor to accompany you on your journey toward healing, empowerment, and wellness.
