Cultural Identities

About Abigail Fuentes, LSW

Hi, I’m Abby! My approach to therapy has been helpful for clients who desire to break cycles, explore their racial, cultural, & sexual identities, reflect on childhood memories & family history, navigate anxiety & depression, process unresolved trauma, & anything else that is holding them back from feeling at home with who they are. When we begin to heal and unlearn internalized shame, we can live a life full of self-compassion & authenticity, become stronger advocates for our needs, & feel more secure in the relationships that matter most to us.

I support clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, & processing trauma to reclaim their sense of self-worth. My approach is filled with warmth, authenticity, humor, patience & lived experience. I’ll meet you where you are & celebrate with you all the milestones along the way. I embrace curiosity to learn with & from you. I offer validation, feedback, & challenge with compassion.

I recognize how scary it can feel to explore yourself & unpack past experiences. These strides can also create outlets for healing. I want to work together in creating a space where you feel empowered to reflect on yourself, your experiences, & reclaim your story. I am committed to following your pace, while keeping you accountable towards your goals.
