About Kassandra Ruiz Camargo, LMFT

I believe that caring for your mental health is one of the most meaningful investments you can make in yourself. My goal as a Bilingual therapist is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to become the best version of yourself. I view therapy as a collaborative process — you are the expert of your own life, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you make sense of your story, your experiences, and your emotions.

For the past eight years, I have dedicated my career to working in the mental health field, focusing primarily on trauma and its impact across different stages of life. I have had the privilege of working with clients of all ages and backgrounds, helping them navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, grief, identity, and life transitions. My approach is grounded in compassion, cultural humility, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey.

Working with the Latinx community has always been at the heart of my practice. Since the beginning of my career, I have supported individuals and families in exploring the intersections of culture, family expectations, and personal growth. As someone who understands the experience of growing up in a Mexican household, I recognize the balance many of us strive to maintain between honoring our roots and finding our own path. Conversations about mental health are not always easy within our culture — sometimes they’re even met with silence or misunderstanding. My goal is to help break that stigma and offer a space where you can show up authentically, without judgment or pressure.

I know that seeking help can feel intimidating, especially if it’s your first time in therapy. It takes courage to reach out and begin exploring what healing looks like for you. My commitment is to meet you where you are — with empathy, patience, and understanding. Together, we’ll identify what’s been holding you back, strengthen your coping skills, and move toward a life that feels more grounded and fulfilling.

In my work, I often draw from trauma-informed and evidence-based practices that honor both the mind and body connection. I believe healing is not linear — it’s a process that requires gentleness, curiosity, and compassion. Whether you’re processing past experiences, managing current stressors, or learning how to navigate relationships in healthier ways, I’m here to support you through each step.

My hope is that our work together feels empowering, affirming, and culturally sensitive. Therapy is not about fixing who you are; it’s about understanding yourself more deeply and creating space for growth and healing. You deserve care, connection, and the opportunity to write a new chapter for yourself — one that feels true to who you are and where you want to go.

If you’re ready to begin your healing journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Together, we’ll create a space rooted in trust, understanding, and compassion — a space where you can reclaim your story and step into your power.
