About Daniela Guerrero, LMHC, LPC

I spend a great deal of time building a connection with clients so that we can get to a place of vulnerability that feels comfortable. I incorporate science, reflection, warmth, and humor to sessions to help build a safe space for you. I am a Latina from Chicago, bilingual, and a musician in my spare time. I like to joke that “I never grew out of my emo phase” and being a therapist gives that statement a whole new meaning.

My style is personable and informal. I used a mix of different modalities to help cater to your individual needs. For example, we might incorporate nature-informed therapy to your EMDR or CBT. I believe in treating the trauma first, and seeing what is left.

Our first session is a “get-to-know-you” session where I will go over your history and interests. I try my hardest to never push clients too far where there is emotional flooding. I will go at your pace and we will build a relationship before diving into some of the tougher experiences you have had.
