As a first-generation Latina and daughter of immigrants, I bring lived experience and over two decades in mental health to my work. My speaking topics often explore identity-related experiences, navigating anxiety, academic & professional stress, and resilience that honors cultural identity and strengths for BIPOC and Latinx communities.
My approach is trauma-informed, culturally attuned, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as CBT and ACT. I offer audiences concrete tools, insight, and a renewed sense of possibility. Attendees leave with practical strategies and deeper awareness of how to align healing with identity.
I’ve facilitated workshops for undergraduate and graduate students, and led trainings for mental health professionals, covering topics from resilience and identity to managing academic and professional stress. I also collaborate with organizations to develop training topics tailored to the unique needs of each group. Previously, I served as a lecturer at UC Berkeley’s School of Social Welfare.
I am available for workshops, panel discussions, and trainings. Let’s connect and explore how I can support your event.
