Hi, I’m Daiana Chapman (AMFT #153249), practicing under the guidance of Beverly G. Fuentes (LMFT #106356).
As a Brazilian immigrant, former educator, and bilingual therapist (Portuguese/English), I bring not only clinical training but also lived experience, cultural awareness, and deep respect for your story. I understand what it’s like to carry invisible weight or question whether you belong. That’s why I offer therapy that is grounded, collaborative, and deeply human.
🌱 My work is a holistic practice, grounded in somatic approaches that honor the wisdom of both body and mind.
✨ All of my sessions are offered remotely, creating a safe space you can enter from wherever you feel most at ease. I support teens, adults, couples, and families (ages 13–55) as they navigate life’s storms and seasons, including:
- Anxiety, stress & overwhelm
- Trauma, including generational experiences
- Phobias
- Life transitions in relationships, family, or career
- Neurodivergence (ADHD, autism, sensory differences)
- Parents & families seeking more ease and connection
Many of the people I work with carry significant responsibilities, showing up for others and holding everything together on the outside, while inside they feel weighed down by worry, stress, or unresolved pain.
My Approach
I integrate body-based and trauma-informed modalities, including:
- Somatic Experiencing (SE): Supporting your body in releasing stored stress and overwhelm
- Internal Family Systems (IFS): Tending to your inner parts with curiosity and compassion
- ACT & EFT: Encouraging emotional regulation and values-aligned action
- Polyvagal-informed care & mindfulness: Cultivating safety, balance, and presence
