My approach to therapy is working collaboratively to identify how to best support you through genuine connection, trauma-informed care, decolonizing therapy, as well as embracing compassion and laughter as we work together.
Experienced in supporting folks through trauma pertaining to sexual and domestic violence, intergenerational trauma, first gen/immigrants/children of immigrants, gang violence and sports performance concerns, my work is influenced by Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, EMDR, Narrative therapy and lived experiences.
Therapy is not a one size fits all approach and together we will work on identifying what strategies work best for you. Offering support in English and Spanish, we can work together in a way that helps you show up as your authentic self. Thank you for taking this step in your journey.
