Cultural Identities

About Dr. Viola Mejía, PsyD CA Psy33293

Trusting ourselves is often the hardest part of healing. Much of the world around us and our traumas have separated us from our inner compass-our heart. In therapy with me our focus is on remembering and reclaiming our authentic selves-our entire selves that don’t fit into a box. We will focus on you and how you make sense of the world and what happened to you by integrating restorative, body based, and ancestral practices of healing. I specialize in working with QT and BIPOC people who are wanting to heal relational patterns and live authentically. As a mixed Chicanx person I know what it is to not feel at home even in myself. Together we can craft your own healing journey that embraces your authentic self.
